About Me

Timothy Lim, AuD., is an audiologist / freelance illustrator from the state of Arkansas. His work has been featured in print, posters, and t-shirts on an international level, including G4's Attack of the Show, MTV's Splash Blog, Super Punch, Comics Alliance, Fashionably Geek, TeeFury, and RIPT Apparel.

His logo was voted by staff and students to be used for Phonak University, 2009. He has contributed t-shirt designs to Missouri State's audiology department and to the Arkansas Academy of Audiology.

On his free time he likes to travel, watch movies, read books, and try new things like testing his trivia might or taking his guinea pigs for a walk.

On sale tomorrow, August 7th, at RIPTApparel.com.

A lot of you probably only know me as “Tim” or “Ninjaink,” though not many of you may know of my title as Dr. Timothy Lim, Au.D. I am an audiologist from central Arkansas.

I and my colleagues, primarily those in pediatrics, work around populations in which we encounter persons with autism or in the autism spectrum disorder (ASD) on a regular basis. As I have a family member with autism, this is a cause that is closer to me than usual.

I was kindly approached by RIPTApparel and AutismSpeaks.org to do a charity tee shirt for the month of August. On August 7, RIPTApparel will be selling the shirt for 24 hours at $10 a shirt. My usual artist fee — $1 per shirt sold — will be going towards AutismSpeaks.org and RIPT will be matching my $1 with $2 for every shirt.

I know that a lot of my fellow audiologists, especially those who work in pediatrics, are well aware of the lives and lifestyles of persons with ASD and how important this is. I would very much appreciate sharing this information in the next few weeks. I’ll be sending out only one more reminder as we get closer to August 7.
